Beatrice Baggins is a curious little hobbit, who want want nothing close to a quiet homely life, or any of the sort. To think that she would ever stop traveling and stay at home for more than a week was unheard of, from anyone of knowledge of the young hobbit. Her wish of traveling a long way from home is granted, when a band of dwarves invade her home, and her brothers kitchen, and give her the opportunity of a lifetime. Never in a million years would she think that she would have fallen for the loveable king under the mountain.

The journey has barely begun and she's already having strange feelings for the King. She doesn't understand what this pull means and Thorin seems to be in the same boat. But unlike her, he actually knows what's going on and is doing his best to ignore it. But a skin changer only has one mate in their lifetime and it's rare for a Dwarf to find their One.
