Several years ago, Elizabeth and her mother, Maria, used to live on the reservation; Elizabeth's father being Joshua Uley's brother, and Maria's sister being married to Billy Black.

When a body was found mutilated in the forest near the Black residence, Maria was framed and banished from the reservation.

Elizabeth is now seventeen and an orphan. Her parents, alphas of a large pack of shifters, were brutally murdered by their beta, because Elizabeth, who was supposed to take on the title of alpha in a few years, could not shift, which has not happened for centuries.

Since Elizabeth is only seventeen, she has no choice but to go live with her uncle Billy for a few months, because he is the only relative that will take her.

However, she is in constant danger because her parents' murderer is tracking her.

While there, she sees her old friends, Jake, Embry, and Quil, and also meets some of her cousin, Sam's, weirdly large friends along the way.

[So I decided to change the plot of this story dramatically, and I'm going to actually write it, so this is a different description. It doesn't really make sense but I'm making up a new type of shifter and it's hard to explain so bear with me sorry!]

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
