Boom!! I hear the door to my bedroom fall.
I look from my hiding place from the top shelf of my closest knowing for sure that's not my mommy " Avery I know your in here.." The man I barely remember walks in and starts to look under my twin size bed. I shake as he's comes near the closet door. The light starts to shine through blinding me momentarily. He looks around throwing cloths left and right "Ah there you are" the look in his eyes says it all 'you won't come back from this'
"Ahhhh" "momma hewp me!" I yell and scream as loud as I can kicking and scratching trying to escape from the man that abandoned me. I look down to see we're already in the living room my momma lays asleep with a little blood on her head." Where's you taking me! Momma wake up!" The man put his hand on my moth and whispers in my ear " Somewhere they won't find you" shivers run down my back along with tiers streaming down my face....

Her names Avery she was taken from her home at six years old by a person she once knew as her dad. It's been 11 years since that day. 11 years of pure torture, 11 years of not knowing whether she'll live another day or die from the beating, starvation, or worse, 11 years of being tossed around like trash; caged like an animal in a cold dark basement..
