Being a 23 year old opening gay women in Connecticut in 2004, wasn't exactly what Ellen thought was in store for her life. Then one day Alicia Greenwood came in for a haircut, at Groovy cuts, where Ellen was a receptionist, changing Ellen's life forever. This is a story about love and the right to love whoever you want, and have a happy life like everyone else does.
