500 years ago, a powerful diviner foresaw the coming of a pyromancer unlike any other. They would have either the greatest powers of any witch in their time, or none at all. It was predicted they would arrive in this year, and all of the witch covens want that witch. Kiera is normal. Always has been, planned on staying that way. That all changes when her dormant powers awaken at Starbucks and she is faced with a whole new dimension to her previously complicated world. Soon, she is fought over by three covens, finding unlikely alliances and quickly making enemies. As tensions grow, a war threatens to break out among the witch covens.

"The book talks about what the native Ekotians were like," he explained. "Like how people used to say they were immortal." "OK?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows. "That's just a theory." "Well what if they weren't wrong, but it was a little different," He said. It dawned on me. "Don't tell me you think I'm Ekotian."
