Modern day Katniss and Peeta. 
Katniss is the new girl at school, she's athletic, has a great personality and she has the best taste of fashion. You could say the perfect life but she doesn't, she's broken inside. Being sucked into a hole of emotions. 
She lost her dad at 8 and her mother blanked out and her little sister was only four leaving her to become her "2nd mother " as what they would call her even though she was a sister. 
Katniss no longer talks to her mother and moved away to district 4 with prim, with permission of the Capital. 
She meets the tall blue eyed, blond haired boy, who is handsome strong funny and always knows what to say with words she has fallen in love with him after about 1 day.

To clear up confusion which will be in this story due to my lazy personality, here is somethings that will help you understand the first few chapters - 
Katniss has known everyone but  Peeta for her life. Because before her dad died they lived in District 4 with everyone besides Peeta, because when she moved to district 12 to care for her mother (that was where she could afford medicines) Peeta moved from 12 to 4. That's why Katniss and Peeta are strangers and Finnick and the gang treat her like the have known her for her whole life because they have!

I want to tell him everything about himself, to prove just how much I remember. But I don't. We just watch each other until the orange fades into dusky blue. ➳➳➳ In the years following the dismantling of the Hunger Games, Katniss rekindles the fire between her and Peeta. Over time, they grow back together, relearning to love every part of each other. Moving on from the war isn't easy, especially when Katniss still revisits her greatest fears and worst memories every night. But Peeta is always there, keeping the nightmares away, keeping her safe. However, though the world is changed, it will never truly be safe. ➳➳➳ The years following the war. Post canon, basically what leads to the epilogue. CW: Mild sexual content, violence, death, pregnancy, panic attacks PSA, there will be canon divergence, and the later books will get pretty dark. Also, I wrote this when I was thirteen or fourteen, so even though it's edited, it might not be good.

Peeta= a player Katniss= a Normal girl But what girl can't help but fall for the hottest kid in school? Even if he is a player.... Katniss is a normal girl and it is normal for a girl to fall for the local player right? Most girls just date him for attention. Never really thought about how he feels. But yet, he continue his arrogant ways and dates almost every girl in school. He doesn't seem to care about anything at all. Nothing. At. All. He is one of those kids who is automatically smart. Never has to study, or listen for that matter. (I'm pretty sure we can think of at least one person we go to or have went to school with like this)^^ Summary sucks^^

Peeta Mellark didn't ask for this. He didn't ask for his father to anger a sorceress and cause her to cast a spell on his castle and all who lived in it. He didn't ask for his father to make a deal with the sorceress to spare himself and his two elder sons exchange for his youngest son being turned into a creature no sane person could ever love and to be left alone, cast aside as a freak. But that is what he received. And just as a neglected spoon tarnishes, as did the heart of the once caring boy. His only chance to break the wretched curse is to love someone and to have her love him in return before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose that will begin wilting at his 25th birthday. Poor Peeta loses all hope by the time his birthday arrives. That is until he meets Katniss Everdeen, a young huntress who comes to be his prisoner. But while he loves her, he has little hope. After all, how can anyone see any beauty in such an ugly beast.

When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did.
