Avery Hamilton belonged to that perfect family. Her father head of city council, and mother owns her own local business. Everyone knew their name, and that's how they preferred it. At least Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton that is. The two spent so long building the most perfect image, their daughter was expected to do the same. Avery spent her whole life trying to please those around her, she never quite got the chance to do what she desired. Even as Avery transitions into her own adult while attending one of the top charter universities in the country, she still finds herself following orders. Avery returns home for a summer internship. Yet a secret Avery is keeping persuades her to take some matters into her own hands. Along the way, she finds herself, love, acceptance and most importantly her inner voice.
