Annalise Mackay faced a severe loss after her best friend Barbee died. Her mom decided that it was best to move to the town of Blackhaven to try and escape the unexplained tragedy. Annalise spent the summer going through therapy sessions that she refused to accept. When her brother, Jessie, joins Annalise and his mother to begin the school year at Dracnesse High School, he starts to question the new guy his sister is hanging out with. Turning up in Blackhaven mysteriously just as Annalise arrives, Demetris Arteta, spikes an interest in her that may come from the dark past that haunts her dreams.
