His heart is still beating, but he's seriously injured. The only thing he remembers from that night was a terrible pain that went through his body. Years passed and he's now living with the Cullens in Forks. He's close to Rosalie and Esme. But the memories of his past haunt him and he doesn't trust people. But then he meet Oliver Swan, Bella's twin brother. It's love at first sight, but he has a hard time trusting people. He knows their love is forbidden. One day a girl visit him and she claims to be his daugther. It turns out to be Lily whom he thought was dead. He's so happy to see her and he hope their life will be as it was before. But everything will change. The pressure threatens to tear them apart. Adam is willing to sacrifice everything to keep his family safe. There was a major war that happened and now the government is trying a new experiment on the city. The main character, Alex, and her best friends who are twins are seeing that something isn't right. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue.
