Annabeth is the daughter of a baker in Athens. Percy is the Prince of Atlantis. There's no way the two of them have ever met before, right?

But here's the thing, Percy's pretty sure he knew her before her home went up in flames. The only thing he can't figure out is how.

**This used to be called 'Down in Flames, Saved by the Water' but it has been completely rewritten. And I mean completely. The original story was written in 2016 and since I've progressed as a writer, I've decided to rewrite it.**

She didn't do it gently, and there was a cut across her cheek, so I assumed that the captive had hit her with something. I looked down, and found myself face-to-face with Prince Percy Jackson of Argos. •Completed•
