The trees seemed to bend towards me. The farther I went, the darker the world seemed to get. The color also seemed to dim as I ran. But I didn't pay much attention to that. I finally came to a large clearing, near the center was an hourglass, it was made out of diamond. I walked up to it. It was so thick I could barley see inside, although I did see something inside. I reached out and touched the diamond, it seemed to melt away leaving glass. I then spotted a man about my age throwing fire at the walls. I screamed. Then I woke up. The boy's memories were hazy, but one thing was certain: they were trapped. There was no sign of civilization in sight, just an endless expanse of sand and rock. No buildings, no roads, no rescue in sight. Panic began to set in as the boy scrambled to his feet, joining the throngs of teenagers searching for answers. How did they get here? Why were they trapped? And, most pressing of all, how would they survive in this desolate wasteland? As the boy joined the desperate search for survival, he realized that he was not alone in his quest for answers.
