{EDITING PROCESS} *BOOK ONE OF TWO* When a high school student named Davina Smith faces her senior year after a tragedy in her family, suddenly finds herself appealed to the new kids in town. She never had an interest in befriending anyone besides her childhood friends Emma and Jackson, But these kids had something about them that just made them stick out. Maybe it wasint such a bad idea to expand her social life. What could go wrong? Right..? ~~~~~~~~~~~ Davina Smith, a 17 year old with trauma of losing those close to her from past experiences and losses, is soon appealed to the new kids in town. Or more like appealed to the attractive black haired, green eyed boy. She's never been the one to want to have a relationship. Is now the time? Xavier Witts, a 18 year old boy hiding a nothing more than a couple lies... or so he says. Xavier never wanted to get attached to someone he could lose. He never to wanted to go through that again. But what happens when suddenly that person fights against his measures of protection? What happens when that person is willing to risk their life just to be with him? Luckily he would do the same ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I don't know what to do Xavier..." I cry uncontrollably into his chest as he holds onto me for dear life. "I know love. I know." "I'm such a bother to yall." I choke out. "I'm so fucking weak. I can't even defend myself." Xavier's arms unwrap from my body, and his hands hold my teary face. "I'm a worthless h-human." Xavier furrows his eyebrows in pain. A tear of his own falling down his face. "No," he says shaking his head. "No. You've never been a bother to me. You aren't weak. And you most certainly aren't worthless." I gasp to breathe, and he continues talking. "What you are is an amazing person who hasn't let all of this crazy bullshit affect her. You handled it like a champ. What you are is a strong, brave being that has stood by my side." I breathe as he leans closer. "What you are, is the love of my life...."

"Dropdropdropdrop" Gosh, it's raining again! I'm so damn drenched but thank god my report card's safe, it is a bit wet but not as much as I am. No big deal of the A's that it consists but still you need your parent's signature on it, stupid rules or formalities, sounds better. Mom's going get happy again and throw a party tonight, Good lord I just hate those appreciation parties, they push me towards the spotlight! All the people congratulating ya, hugging ya, getting presents for ya and the most annoying part is their long speeches completely made up from Google about being proud of ya. Typical Cliché! *** A normal teenage girl just like you and me, gets a dozen of A's in every test, doesn't really need a boy and most importantly doesn't want a boy in bed?! Very funny, beautiful, brown hair flowing down her waistline, sexy collarbone, toothy smile, small nose and contempt towards Appreciation parties. As boring as it sounds, her life takes a twist down the road as a few boys desire to sleep with her. Olivia West is a typical teenage girl. She has a group of awesome friends, a pretty face and a liking for boys. There is a new guy in school, and he is causing a lot of talk between Olivia and her friends. Fights will go down, rumors will be spread and friendships will be lost. The one question is, who will stay with Olivia until the end? Sneak peek: "How could you do this to me?" I scream at him, tears running down my face. Jack rubs his forehead. "Olivia, I told you, it was a mistake. A huge mistake. I still love you!" he says urgently. I smile cruelly, despite my crying. "Well, Jack, maybe you should of though of that before you went and cheated on me". He looks at me sadly. "I will only love you" he says quietly. I run a hand through my hair, another wave of tears coming on. "Don't call me beautiful then pour yourself into the arms of someone more beautiful" I say. Jack takes a step towards me. "Olivia", he says putting his hand on my shoulder, "there is no one more beautiful". My heart skips a beat, as if for a moment, time has been re-winded back to a time where he made me feel special. The feeling is brief.

A girl, in search of why things go so wrong in her life. From tragic events, being moved around the foster system and then finally living alone. She scourers her world for answers of why her life can be flipped so quickly, but one thing stands in her way; memories from her past. A boy, who's parents are dying and is vaguely aware of his surroundings. He wants to heal his parents while trying to hold himself in one piece. His deeply loved sister disappears from his life, causing him to breaks down in pieces so easily. He needs help of his own but won't admit it. Two are thrown together in a mess of their own worlds. They each have what each other need. But will they risk it all to help a stranger? Tied together through struggles and love, these two embark on a journey to find answers to their problems. But, most importantly, love. -�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�-�- I let my gaze search him. From his feet, to his chest, to his face. It all seemed perfect to me, but there was something else deep down inside this stranger. "Why are you here?" I stood on my toes and tried to look taller compared to him. He rose an eyebrow. "My sister, she's here." He paused, "Somewhere." "Oh," I frowned and look to my shoes. "Why are you here?" I felt his breath on my forehead. "Me?" I placed my finger on my chest. I nodded and looked up to meet his gaze. It was hard not to get lost in his eyes. Beautiful. "I need space," I began, but I didn't know how to finish, I sighed. "To find myself."
