Beyond Birthday is the brilliant criminal mind behind the death squad. They kill. B strategically chooses the best people to kill to control the world and destroy the stupid world which believes L to be the greatest detective. The death squad are a skilled team of criminals who have been told to kill anyone they meet. There route was chosen specially by B. B never has to get his hands dirty. He is the mind and everyone else is his limbs.
