The Ark is the first ship of its kind: a craft that will carry a select group of 100 colonists from Earth to Danu, a planet unstained by human growth. There, they will establish a colony capable of continuing the legacy of Earth. Humanity will endure even if they cannot reverse the damage to their home planet.
It was a splendid, painstakingly crafted endeavor, designed for maximum security- but no plan is perfect, particularly on an alien world. Even if the colonists can remain united, there exist countless trials and dangers along the way. Things can fall apart, especially if the planet and its inhabitants decide to fight back...

The Shining Knight Saga: The Saga Begins
It is the year 770 (Post Union), nearly eight hundred years after humanities first FTL capable ship made first contact with another sapient race. An age of expansion and technological advancement amongst humanities fledgling star empire, but not everything is as grand as one may hope. The Sapient Congressional Union consists of many different member species spread across more than four and a half thousand light years of space, a mere blip in the face of the immensity of the universe. Amongst these myriads of worlds exist the inhabitants of the Union, many of them just doing their best to live comfortable lives amidst the chaos and turmoil of a hostile universe. Pirates, brigands, and marauders are rampant and a constant scourge to the far-flung outer frontier worlds of the Union, only the bloated core systems having any real Federal presence to protect the innocent. It is a hard existence that breeds even harder individuals, individuals willing to do anything to seek out their own fortunes amongst the stars. We follow the destiny of several such citizens of this so-called Union as they try to carve a place for themselves from the criminals and other deplorables of the galaxy. Repopulating Uvis
Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted? What would happen to the women who went to Uvis would they be treated well? Was it just a way to reduce the Earth's population so it was easier to take over?
