"By the time you find this letter, I'll be long gone. I won't say where I'm going, but I will say I'll probably be safe. Probably. Here's some stuff for you to remember. Dad- I know Mum has been dead for ages now, but please, that doesn't mean you can hookup with random chicks. Stop it. Step "Mom"- You're an ass. Bro- Don't you dare take my room while I'm gone. -Your beloved and dearly departed family member, Daniel James Howell" So begins Dan's plan to run away. I have noticed some readers adding this story to "phan" reading lists, so I wanted to just make an update. **THIS IS NOT A PHAN STORY** This was written a few years before Dan and Phil came out as gay. It is a Dan Howell fan fiction, where the main character (that is a girl) falls in love with him. Just wanted to clear that up. I don't want to delete this work because there's so many reads and votes, and as shitty as this story is, I love going back and reading the wonderful comments people have made. ~~~~~ Rachel Alice, Phil Lester's best friend, is coming to visit him for the first time in two years. She'll also be meeting Phil's roommate, Dan, for the first time.
