An unconventional dystopian fiction. Not the typical teenage boy/girl vs. evil government. In this morally grey universe, an empire has risen to conquer and a group of superhuman assassins has risen to oppose it. The assassins are the fallout from a series of experiments by the government to create a super-soldier to put down rebellions. The government thought it had everything figured out, they insured the super soldiers would be obedient. These soldiers were made with dependence on drugs that only the government could manufacture, and each soldier was given a type of mental illness that required a constant stream of medication. However the three major mafia groups have gotten control of production and now the government has lost control. With rebellion looming and violence flooding the empire, will the assassins destroy the government in the name of justice? or will they forever be subjugated to the drug that gives them strength? Will the rise of the mafia insure the rise of a new evil? Is it possible to ever gain power and keep justice alive? what really is evil and can it exist alongside good?
