Sandra Deshirul is a 16 year old girl that lives in District 1 of Panem, the place once known as North America, which includes 13 districts and the Capitol. Each year the Capitol holds the Hunger Games. One boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 is to be chosen as tributes to represent their district. Sandra has a gut feeling that she or her sister will be chosen this year as the girl tribute.

This is a Hunger Games fan fiction fully inspired by Suzanne Collins' book, "the Hunger Games". I take no credit for the idea. The idea of this story originates from Suzanne Collins' hit series, "the Hunger Games". If there are letters in italics, that means that the words/phrase came straight from the book, "the Hunger Games". Once again I take no credit for the idea of this fanfic.

Like all children in his world, 14-year-old Finnick Odair had the chance of being chosen for the Hunger Games. In a pool stock full of names, he was just as vulnerable as anyone from the ages of 12-18. And in District Four, which often tends to produce Career tributes, its residents could only hope that this year's pair would fall under that description. On Reaping day, a 14-year-old boy's name is called. A name often whispered down the hallways of the local high school, giggled at, fawned over. It was impossible. Him, of all people? It couldn't be, could it? Yet it was. At age 14, Finnick Odair was called forth to be a tribute in the 65th annual Hunger Games. Suzie is just a normal girl from district 2 whos family has died because of the cruel Capitol, and all she wants is to do is be with them again. She figures the best way to finally be with her family again is to volunteer for the hunger games. Then someone else could kill her and she wouldn't have to kill herself. Also her father was in the games and she wanted to make him proud. So she comes up with a plan to go around all the districts gathering different types of skills and once she gets back to district 2 she will volunteer. Making her father proud was the thing she loved to do the most. Her father was her idol. But she doesnt have to volunteer. Suzie Timmer thought she would never get chosen at the reaping because she is not apart of any of the districts except district 2. But the Capitol figures out her plan, they figure out what she has been doing, so they purposly pull her name out at the reaping in district 4...
