Based off of my grandmas life story and her adventures during WWII. I am writing as accurately as I can to her re-telling, however there might be some minor inaccuracies.
Anna fled Soviet Ukraine to Soviet Russia with her mother and brother after her father was shot. They traveled by night and snuck across borders, nearly escaping sure death many times, until they finally ended up in Germany.
