I feel the beads of sweat trickle down the side of my face as they leave cold trails down my cheeks. I look up and wonder what's out there for me? Who's out there for me? I'm so nervous my stomach feels like its going to suffocate itself. I can feel my heart pump in my chest, every beat i can hear, my mind goes blank except for one thing. I am ready to be free and embrace my new future.
Icarus is stuck and has finally been given something that can set him free from all the things that have hindered him. But what will happen when he uses it too quickly.

When the rain clouds disappear
Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told. I laughed then to break the intense atmosphere that had taken over but it just made his eyes crinkle and his dimples appear. "Oh" was all I could say. I was actually speechless. I mean what could I say to that without spilling my guts to him. Hi! This is a grumpy x sunshine, next door neighbour, he's obsessed with her and she's oblivious to it romcom. Also this is my first ever attempt at writing so please leave any feedback/ improvements you feel I can make in the comments lol. Double Dog Dare
It felt so right, but I knew it was all so wrong. His body pressed against mine his hands around my waist. My arms wrapped around his neck. I felt his breath on my neck as he softly panted. He had me pinned against the wall. Keeping me from running away like I so badly wanted to do, but at this moment I don't think my legs would allow me to run. My head was swimming and everything was cloudy that's what he did to me. He messed with my mind and twisted everything around. I could never think straight when he was on my mind. And his always on my mind. He messed everything up. I thought I had everything figured out but he came along and now I'm puzzled. In the beginning, there was death. The darkness flows from hues of purple and orange, the moon rising to kiss the sun's rays one last time as the darkest cloud of night I've ever seen falls over our tiny haven. I glanced at both of them before holding his glare with my own. He was giving me a cold stare, caging me in like an animal. I bit my lip, trying to hold it back. I was never good in situations like these. He stopped leaning forward when his face was just inches from mine. He was trying to make me uncomfortable. Trying to scare me, but he didn't. Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." An Endless Day
"Alright, it's 12 noon. Deal or not?" I couldn't look at him, so I stared at the beauty in front of me. Somehow I knew he was watching it too. I felt like we were characters of a famous story, standing side by side, gazing ahead. I hesitated, my heart was beating fast, I was almost afraid that he's going to hear it too. But for the first time in my life, I trusted my heart and told my brain to go to hell. The girl lead in this story was going to do what she wanted, and won't fear the consequences. "Let's do this." I said and turned towards him. We remained silent for a couple of moments, absorbing the meaning of the deal we just agreed to. And then I saw his lips turned upwards just enough for me to notice. He turned to me and held my hand. I felt several emotions just by touching him. Nervousness, excitement, fear, happiness all at once. I pushed them all aside, and smiled ear to ear. He held his hand up, counting down to three, my heart racing with every finger he raised. And just as he finished, we jumped off the cliff.Complete

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?"
