Calliope is trapped in an old run-down building that was burned to a cinder. It seems like people are living there. There are beds in the rooms and locks on some doors. Calli thinks she is going insane when she hears noises and the maze like building seems to never end. Amaris is a girl who also got lost in this building but it drove her insane. She finds Calli here and decides to mess with her head sending Calli into insanity also. That's not the only thing driving Calli insane. She can't remember how she got to this building. She remembers one name, Amaris. It's the only thing keeping her sanity in place.

A nuclear explosion wipes out a small town in Indiana, which either kills, or rewrites the cells of anyone caught in it's range. Some people weren't able to handle it's affects, others have been changed. Everyone who survived was given a supernatural ability.
