Año 2.038. Un virus de origen desconocido es expande irremediablemente por el mundo, convirtiendo al planeta en un infierno lleno de no muertos sedientos de carne humana. Un año y medio después, los pocos bastiones y reductos que quedan de la humanidad se enfrentan a la escasez de recursos y suministros. Desde los grandes bastiones, nuestros personajes lucharán por sobrevivir en un entorno hostil en el que cualquier despiste puede resultar fatal.
En el primer libro de esta saga, Extinción - El Accidente, recorreremos el camino que sigue Brian, un chico normal y corriente que tiene que enfrentarse a una realidad que le sobrepasa, encontrándose con la ferocidad de los no muertos a cada kilómetro que recorrerá de los Estados Unidos, buscando un refugio seguro. A miles de kilómetros de distancia desde donde se encuentra Brian, un soldado de Nuevo Edén llamado Altair viaja hacia España junto a un grupo de soldados en busca de una alianza con los últimos bastiones que quedan en Europa. En las ruinas de Denver, en un laboratorio cercano al refugio seguro de la ciudad, asistiremos al nacimiento de Stuart, un cíborg reanimado un año y medio después del inicio de la plaga y que debe buscar el porqué de su existencia. Y mientras todo esto ocurre, una organización conocida como "Trípode" mueve ficha para hacerse con el control total de lo que queda de la humanidad. El camino hacia la extinción ha comenzado.

Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Complete

Your Stupid Face A Desert Duo Story
To describe Scar & Grian's relationship, it is one of complete and utter loathing. The two have a deep-rooted dislike for one another, always wanting to bully each other every time they come near. However, whenever they do pass or see each other, they would get this strange feeling of warmth and joy that fills their guts. But they don't know what this sensation is, they just know that it makes them want to bully and torment the other even worse. It's such a unique feeling, no one can explain it, not even themselves. They just know that the feeling is there and they hate it. They hate it so much that they wont admit it or even talk about it, it's something unspoken but still a powerful and driving force between the two. Grian hated it, hating that feeling of warmth and attraction that Scar was causing. This completely flipped their relationship, as Grian started to want more of Scar's attention. However, he felt so conflicted about this feeling as well, wanting to fight and torment Scar but unable to resist the charms as well. This story is inspired by the song Your Stupid face by Kaden Mackay I hope you like it! Year 3071. Exoplanet Steel-1, the only planet in the system along with it's moon, was once a site for mass drone production factory called "Chimera's Dawn" by the JC Jenson company, later modified into a secret research facility, renamed to "Chimera's Fall", to investigate what caused the destruction of Earth and reason behind drones turning against humanity. Few years after the events on the Earth, something known as "The Absolute Solver" created a deadly energy shockwave on Steel-1, resulted in planet's decaying state, annihilated all humans, destroyed most of the machinery, and deactivated or damaged most of the drones on the planet. The surviving worker drones have established a survival base in an abandoned Communications and Surveillance Center called the "Steel Eye".
