Note - I'm not that knowledgeable on what Doctor's do for their patients so some facts are probably wrong. Oh, and I apologize if Chapter's one and two and a bit more boring than the other four. Hello! This is my Merlin fanfiction. Since I know I will never get over how Merlin ended, I made this in modern times to describe how Arthur comes back. I do not own any of these characters. I may write a sequel to this story in the future. This story starts out with Merlin and tells a bit about his life since Arthur died. Until one day he sees Arthur running along the path. Merlin talks with Arthur and shortly figures out that he has no idea who Merlin is. Merlin must make Arthur remember and find out why Arthur has returned while restoring the friendship that they once had.

I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen. He goes to sit by the lake of Avalon to wait for Arthur. Eventually Arthur returns. Merlin is not immortal in this version, however he is still extremely powerful. This is about their life together. Warnings: malexmale relationship, some language might be considered crude, mentions of m-preg. Mentions of thoughts of suicide.
