Rimuru chooses to return to the past even if he has to erase what he already has to make a better Tempest kingdom than before. She was a Human Girl, that's all she remembers. Waking up in a dark place without a body, she encounters someone she could only describe as godlike, and yet, she wasn't afraid. They were amused by this, and gave her another chance at life. They gave her a new body and a new name, but why does it feel like she's forgetting something important?
