Imagine the world, thousands of years later, where the continents have once again joined to form a supercontinent called Arcadea, ruled by an all-powerful emperor, and where serving him is the highest honor.
      Lin-Mei is an orphan who absolutely hates the emperor, the man who ordered the murders of her parents, and all she wants is revenge. So when she's accepted into one of the six noble clans for training to serve the emperor as a member of the royal guard, she sees her chance and agrees.
      Training for many years, Lin-Mei is at the top of her class, with plenty of friends and admirers, as well as plenty of enemies. When she catches the eye of popular and handsome Griffin, jealousy rages through a certain somebody in the academy. Still, Lin-Mei can live with that.
      That is, until her beloved mentor was murdered one night, and Lin-Mei is accused and thrown in prison, waiting her execution. With the help of some friends, she escapes, hatred filling her heart as she vows to find the murderer.
      Turmoil takes hold of the land as royal guards tear apart villages in search of Lin-Mei, who turns to her only hope of winning against the odds: an ancient technique called bansho, where the user can control one of the elements of nature.
      And so Lin-Mei, heart filled with hatred, murder, and the desire for revenge, fights for her life while searching for justice, and blazes her way into the history books of Arcadea, forever earning her place as the Girl of Fire.All Rights Reserved
