The Risen Remains

Grace Johnson is caught up in a world where flesh eating zombies were only to be believed in story books and movies. When the earth is hit by a fatal virus that rapidly begins to affect the entire planet the human race is quickly on the verge of becoming extinct. With nowhere left to turn grace must find the strength within herself to face this new uprising enemy, in order to keep her family alive grace must team up with a small group of survivors and learn to rely on her better judgment and trust her instincts. This proves to be more difficult than she ever thought possible; with death around every corner grace is determined now more than ever to never become one of those mindless walking corpses, preying on anything with a heartbeat... Why did this happen? Was it nature finally taking control and killing us off due to the harm we've caused it? Or maybe even the government, and if it was did her husband have some kind of connection to this whole catastrophe?
