Evangeline has been dreaming of living in New York for the longest time, and aspiring to be a Broadway actress for even longer. Finally, she has been able to make one part of her dream a reality. The rest will not come as easily. Especially when she barely has a dime to her name, a surly landlord who shared the same dream as her, and a neighbor across the hall who will not seem to stop banging on his clunky typewriter.
