Evangeline has been dreaming of living in New York for the longest time, and aspiring to be a Broadway actress for even longer. Finally, she has been able to make one part of her dream a reality. The rest will not come as easily. Especially when she barely has a dime to her name, a surly landlord who shared the same dream as her, and a neighbor across the hall who will not seem to stop banging on his clunky typewriter. Maybe New York was not what she thought what it would be, but maybe it's just a bit better
