Georgia On My Mind
Georgia Mae Hudson, a strong-willed young woman growing up in rural Mississippi who secretly falls in love with John Luke Madden, the troubled son of her father's best friend. Their relationship is forced into hiding due to her strict father and John Luke's reckless reputation.
Just before John Luke is sent away to the Marines, the two spend one final night together that results in an unexpected pregnancy. Miscommunication, distance, and family interference tear them apart when Georgia never receives the letters John Luke sends her, and he never learns he has a daughter.
Four years later, John Luke returns home and discovers the truth - Georgia never stopped loving him, and he's a father. As the couple reunites and confronts the pain of the past, Georgia becomes entangled in a dangerous political scandal involving her current boyfriend's corrupt father, who tries to force her into a fake marriage to protect his family's reputation.
Together, Georgia and John Luke fight their way back to each other, expose the corruption surrounding them, and finally build the life and family they were always meant to have.
