The say the best motivation is one filled with revenge. 

Ten year old Alessandra Liafose (Lee-uh-FOH-se) wanted to murder Mathias Aldrich, the man who she held responsible for the death of the woman who raised her. 

A young, Mathias Aldrich wanted revenge to the people who had wrongfully stolen the palace away from his father, killing anyone related to the Liafose family. 

Their paths cross years later and when they attempt to kill each other, they notice that they both were wronged by the same people, ultimately making the two enemies, closer than anyone could ever imagine.
