Jessie's POV: 

Slowly opening my eyes, I blink a few times before opening my eyes fully to the harsh light around me. I prop myself up on my elbow, and look beside me to see water and a pill on the dresser. Putting the pill in my mouth then chugging the water to wash it down. After putting the cup down I notice someone starring at me intently. I look in the direction of the person and see Junior standing there. I put one leg on over the edge of the bed then the other, and stand up on two wobbly feet. I begin walking towards him, my heartbeat getting faster and faster with each second that I get closer to him. 

I stop right beside him, still looking forward I say, "I won't forget this." Then I walk towards the door, and open it. Feeling the cold air surround me, I run. Running down the hall and past a few other halls, then towards the exit. I push open the door and head outside. Then begin running towards the place I've been wanting to go to. The place I need to go to.  

Finally making it to my final destination, I sat next to the entrance, breathless, then knock on the door and wait for someone to answer. About 2 minutes of me sitting there and knocking someone finally answers. I look up and see the one person I'd been longing to see. 

"Your finally back. You ready to accept the offer yet?" I stared up at him. I thought about it. The offer was tempting, but was I really ready to give up my life for another one of these stupid gangs. That was something I needed to do. If I wanted to know what happened to my sister. If I really wanted to know what happened that one night she left us all. I shook my head, 'yes'. 

"Welcome back, Sad Girl."
