I sat at my vanity staring into the mirror. I had just finished pressing my hair and applying on makeup. My hazel eyes stood out, but complemented the makeup. My hair looked silky and soft though it was naturally extremely curly. My lips had a nice shade of red painted on and my eyelashes darkened. My faint freckles hidden behind powder. I looked presentable. Not pretty.
