REY HAS TRAINED FROM LUKE SKYWALKER, BECOMING EVEN STRONGER IN THE WAYS OF THE FORCE. AS HER STRENGTH GROWS, SUPREME LEADER SNOKE SENSES HER POWER, AND IT IS FAR GREATER THAN HIS FAILING APPRENTICE'S. WILL HE DISMISS THE FURIOUS KYLO REN, OR WILL HE USE HIM TO HELP REY TURN TO THE DARK SIDE? WILL KYLO REN DO SUCH A DISPLEASURE AS TO TRAIN AN ENEMY, OR WILL HE HIMSELF TURN TO HER LIGHT UNDER HIS DISGUISE? WILL REY GIVE IN, OR WILL SHE STAND HER GROUND AND DIE FOR THE RESISTANCE? IT IS UP TO THE FATES OF THE FORCE.
I edited the cover, but I did not create it. Whoever did it has full credit, so please don't cuss me out over it. I don't own Star Wars (obviously, or I'd be sooooo wealthy), but I do own the plot. I haven't read every single Reylo fic in history, so if the story is similar to another one, let me know because I might have the same idea that's already been thought. I went to the cinema during the Christmas holidays, to see 'The Last Jedi', and I just fell in love with the bond between Rey and Kylo Ren. So I've started writing about it, and I thought "I'm gonna share it on wattpad!" So here I am, writing a fanfiction. The story starts when Rey is still trained by Luke Skywalker. The first four chapters are kind of like a 'prologue', to tell you the situation, and make you familiar with the characters. I've followed the story as it was in the film, and from the fifth chapter onwards, it's all invented. Enjoy reading it! And of course don't forget to like and comment (it means a lot!). But if you don't like the story, just don't read it, and don't comment. Any nasty comments will be deleted. I also don't mind having a few tips, on the contrary, they are very welcome! Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. With whispers of Palpatine's return, the Dark side has been growing stronger and stronger every day. Will she be able to defeat them or will the pull to the Dark be enough to turn her and cause a different ending to the war? *This is an alternative universe that takes place just before/during the events of the Rise of Skywalker. There will be some things that could be similar to the film, but I will be changing quite a bit.
