Isabella Hayes belongs to a world ruled by a powerful monarchy.
As one Monarch comes to an end, the Mage Tournament will decide who becomes the next to reign.
Isabella is tasked to protect one of the Chosen, a mage by the name of Eric Scott Patterson, who surprisingly does not know the magical world he comes from and even more shockingly, no one knows he exists.
Isabella must protect Eric from those who wish to cause him harm while keeping his identity a secret from her world and keeping Eric in the dark about theirs.
Too bad some secrets can't be kept secret forever.
