Song of the Soul

When a new king comes into power and forbids the use of witchcraft, Ailsa, a young witch, must leave her home for fear of her life. She takes shelter at a nearby monastery, dressing as a boy to hide her true identity. There she meets Damien, an aspiring monk, whom she feels drawn to despite their many differences. But with a war brewing between the king and the tribes that practice magic, Ailsa is torn between her loyalty to her people and her love for Damien.
