Perfection. A perfect world, achieved only by complete fear, and isolation. I live in a world where they tried to achieve a perfect world. Only to hurt everyone, and only perfect to those who never see the outside world. Those of us outside despise what Serenity stands for. A perfect world it is not. A perfect world it cannot be.
We all live in fear that one day we will be chosen to enter the gates to Serenity. We all fear the spot we we will be chosen to take on. But we will never stand up. We will never take back what was taken from us... freedom. We lost everything to Serenity, and no one us understand how to get it back. So we live in fear.
I lived in fear. I have been chosen. I hide a secret that must remain hidden. For some reason I think they already know the true me. I do not think I was just next on the list, but I believe I was picked. I was taken in the dead of the night, and now I must remain just Sarah. Can I keep this secret? Will the fear of Serenity destroy everything good in this world? Is Serenity all we have to fear?
