Time has passed since Luke Skywalker destroyed the Death Star with the help of the Rebel Alliance. The Alliance is now stationed on the ice planet, Hoth. They are soon sent into a confrontation as the Empire discovers their position, forcing them to retreat. Skywalker flees to Dagobah to finally start his Jedi training, leaving his newfound relationship behind. During which, Aria goes with Leia and Han to space, evading the enemy and finding hopeful shelter on the planet Bespin, with an old friend, Lando Calrissian. The situation turns south upon finding out the enemy has already found them. Things are dire on Bespin, leaving Aria no choice but to strike back against the horrifying Empire.
