Dean is...different. He is trapped in a never-ending hell with his brother, as John abuses his children. Sam has always had that easy masculinity and Dean would die for him. Sam probably felt the same way, but what if Dean spoke up about his personal prison? Would Sam really still love him? How would their lives change?

He hated it. Hated seeing himself in the mirror, hated being called his birth name, hated being stared at, but most of all, he hated the fact he couldn't say a word. Sam was nice to him, loved him the way siblings loved each other. Sam would die for him and he'd die for Sam. But maybe Sam wouldn't if he knew the truth.

Castiel and Gabriel on the other hand had it good with their sexuality. Everyone at school was very accepting with their sexuality. They never got picked on and their dad, Chuck, and brothers were very accepting even if they came from a religious family. Dean became a selective mute after when of his old classmates threatened him, saying if he every talks again he would hurt his family. He has never talked to anyone since he was 14 years old only to his little brother a couple of times. Dean only communicates with his family by using sign language. Sam has always been shy with people and always wanted to be alone and only talked to people he trusted. Castiel works at a coffee shop, he also helps out at his older brothers, Lucifer and Michaels new family diner. Gabriel works at a candy store shop and also helps out at the diner. Dean and Sam have been travelling through many cities with their parents. With that they had to go to new schools every few months. It was not a big deal to them because they knew it didn't matter if they screwed up cause they would be gone in a while. But now their uncle Bobby got into their way and made them stay in Lawrence. They actually found a house they would stay in and this time they couldn't just scew things up. They had to make new friends. Get good grades but this would be harder than they thought.
