She forced her trembling body into the corner, mind racing to put the puzzle pieces together. It's as if she was missing a crucial piece to something unbelievably simple. His hand -- now wet with fresh blood and gore -- cupped her face before abandoning all control and kissing her with a feral intent hiding behind his soft gestures. He pulled away briefly, studying her face and scrutinizing her with his piercing brown eyes, before pressing his nose against her neck and a rumble of appreciation spreading through his body. Suddenly, it all fit. It fit so well that it terrified her-- they were meant for each other. No matter how horrified she was, no matter how disgust he was by the sight of her, they were meant for each other. Even if they both hated each other.All Rights Reserved
