Février, hiver froid et glacial en pleine forêt de Brocéliande. 2h du matin, un chemin de terre sombre et givré. Des phares tentent de transpercer la noirceur de la nuit. Thibault de Kervoualen ne colère pas. Il n'y voit rien et son GPS est mort. Mais pourquoi a-t-il dit oui à cette invitation ? D'accord, c'est un vieux compagnon d'arme, ça fait plus de 10 ans qu'ils ne se sont pas vu, mais bon quand même !
 Et puis c'est l'accident ! Une forme sombre se jette sous ses roues. Il fait un écart et s'encastre dans un chêne. Qu'est-ce que c'est encore ? Foutu, mais foutu pays ! Sa voiture ne veut plus bouger. Il décide d'aller voir cette forme qui l'a fait dévier de sa route.
