Amethyst Snow was a war nurse in the 1940's, best friends with Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. Thanks to her outstanding abilities as a physician, Amethyst was chosen to be a part of Project Rebirth. After she was injected with the supersoldier serum, she developed her own superpowers. However, she was frozen for decades just like Steve, and later woke up in the 21st century, all alone and confused.

Bucky Barnes was a soldier, one of the Howling Commandos, until he fell to his supposed death in 1945. After enduring decades of torture and brainwashing, he became the ruthless Winter Soldier.

Amethyst never thought she'd see him again. But with SHIELD crumbling down and the Winter Soldier having been assigned with a new mission, Amethyst and Bucky just had to cross paths one more time. Would Amethyst still feel the same? Would he even remember? Could she get pass his cold facade and gain his trust?
