It's ironic to him how the only time Jason ever means anything to anyone always seems to be when he's nearly dying. Maybe that's the point, maybe no one's meant to care for him. ___ Or in which Jason gets abducted, he doesn't expect anyone to rescue him. Especially considering Dick and him aren't on the best of terms at the moment. But when his older brother gets captured while out searching for him, things change. And Jason will stop at nothing to ensure the elder's safety. Even if it means risking his own.
Unexpected

It was why the Bats and the Justice League always kept him at arms length until they needed him. "I've, uh, well, I've been pretty low sometimes in my life, and I know you probably don't want me to say this, but-" Jason sighed as if steeling himself to say what he needed to say next, "what I've learned is that you can't try to do it all on your own. You gotta let people help you. You gotta get help if you need it. No shame in it." Jason sighed again. "What I mean to say is, if you need help, I'm here for you, and I hope that's not weird-" Changes come to our life, and somehow we keep moving.
