Every group has a group-chat. Some have plenty, and many lay abandoned once a newer one takes its place. Though some are short lasting, and others more active, every group-chat has a story.

Once Hannah and Beth go missing, the group-chats leading up to their final trip to Blackwood play key roles in the evidence files for their disappearance.

Once the teens get their phones back, they're used for reconciliation; a medium for the traumatised and bereaved to heal.

When Josh invites them back up to the mountain where it all began, they're used to organise their reunion, reminisce over old times, and start new memories in remembrance of their missing friends...

Though how long these memories last is up to you...

[A mid-game story that mostly takes place between the prologue and the main game]

One year, once you're much older, you go to Blackwood Mountain with your friends and cousins, Josh, Beth, and Hannah. But, things take a turn for the worse when you follow Beth and Hannah out into a storm and pass out, waking up to two of your cousins missing! Then, a year later, you are asked to come back by Josh. Reluctant, but eager to amend things with your friends and please Josh, you end up agreeing for his sake. However, things take a turn once again as you're pulled into a night of terror. Why us? After watching the video Josh sent to everyone, with little to no hesitation, you told him you'd be there. It was to honor Hannah and Beth right? You hadn't seen Josh in person for almost five months so you couldn't wait to go. If only you knew what that night would have in store for you and your friends. Maybe you would have thought twice. So here's your character relationships: Matt and Ashley are your best friends. You've known Ashley since kindergarten and Matt since the 2nd grade. Mike has been one of your closest friends since the fifth grade, but you've had a crush on him since the eighth grade. Your least close with Emily, but that's a whole other story. You have a pretty neutral relationship with everyone else. I really hope you enjoy! Also I started writing and uploading this in 2020 and finished in 2022 so I promise the writing gets better throughout the story! I may even go back and edit out the bad bits!
