Seeking Redemption

Emily Collier. A young girl who has a fierce heart but a caring soul. She wouldn't let anyone in. Always closed herself off. For her it was studying, playing violin, sleeping and repeat. When she was 18, right when she had got accepted into Princeton, her parents forced her to marry to get rid of her in order to live their lives around the world.

When the two first met, they were disgusted by each other. Ruxin, because Em was an innocent butterfly and was hard to get. Em because she hated the fact Ruxin thought he could have any women he wanted. Eventually through all the drama, they found love in each other and they helped the other grow.
But after half a year of being married, Ruxin came home with two girls on his arms and told Em to leave. That he never loved her, throwing a check for a million dollars at her face.
Now, four years later Em is struggling to keep a place above her son's head and food in his stomach.
