The two hedgehogs train each other for future challenges, until the death of Amy Rose occurs. Devastated, Aurora goes out to search for the Chaos Emeralds to save all the dimensions in existence (later figuring out she has to do more), figure out more about her powers, and to find Shadow's missing ex-girlfriend. They meet a sprite, a loyal wolf, a resistance, a young bat, a twist-hearted meerkat, and twin hedgehogs that share similarities with Shadow and Aurora. Throughout the journey, they all learn the power of teamwork, making Shadow feel unsure since what happened on Space Colony ARK and the last fiasco teaming up with Eggman. Shadow and Aurora get closer throughout the mission, but will they remain strong? Will they work together to accomplish the pink hedgehog's promise to her deceased BFF and mother? Why would Shadow team up with Aurora and their "friends"? Could it be to reach destiny, or true love? Who knows what'll happen next? What would Sonic think of all of this? So many questions. Shannon was now in training to learn how to fly which Shadow was teaching her and Amy decided that he would help her out. As they did, they started to fall in love each other. But not all couples come together that easily as a certain person would try to end that chance by trying to take Shannon from Shadow at all costs. Who is that someone. You would have to read to find out!
