What if Tris and Tobias chose Abnegation instead of Dauntless? What if they were never trained to be soldiers for the city? What if no one found out about their Divergence?
Everyone inside the city belongs to a faction. Amity- the peaceful. Abnegation- the selfless. Candor- the honest. Erudite- the smart. And Dauntless- the brave. At the age of 16, every citizen must either defect from, or stay in their faction of birth, and live there for the rest of their life.
Beatrice and Tobias choose to stay in their faction of birth- Abnegation. What will be the same as if they chose Dauntless? More importantly, what will change?
Based on the (amazing!!) Divergent novels by Veronica Roth. Most characters, settings, and some plot ideas belong to her.

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away.
