Gerard was a somebody, he stood out, with his bright hair and violent tendencies, of which of course all the teachers ignored. And he had only one target for this violence, Frank Iero. And don't worry this wasn't for his blatant homosexuality, Gerard wasn't the straightest circle himself and wasn't afraid to show it, he beat him up because the kid always seemed to be there when he got angry. And he always felt sorry.
Frank was a nobody, he rarely spoke unless he had to and hid his arms, causing a few certain rumours. Really it was simply to cover the tattoos he had collected. He was alone until he smashed into that certain red head.

The police reckoned that moving away, to rural New Jersey with his grandparents would help him cope with the loss, but even Frank knew that they couldn't be more than wrong, because despite the dull sleepy atmosphere of the town, there was something unidentifiable yet impossibly unnerving about the place, and really, perhaps was safer in his parents home than he ever was here. And there's something physically wrong too - a figure that lurks in the smoke, fog, and shadows - a silhouette the deepest black he'd ever seen, the kind that brought an unsettling feeling to Frank's stomach, and really Frank's wasn't one to be overly twitchy about things like this, but from the moment he first met him, he could never shake the feeling that the figure was always following him. "The color of the tools doesn't impede their ability to be tools- wait why are you digging around in the closet?" Gerard asked as he waved the stirrer around. "Why do you keep pink tools in the closet?" "Tools. I keep tools in the closet because where the fuck else am I going to keep them? Listen, if you told Gerard Way that he fell in love with a boy- He would stop you there and call you fucking crazy because that only means he A.) found someone who he found attractive and B.) befreinded this guy. Which was absolutely not possible and he would take great offense in you pulling his chain. Frank Iero on the other hand, had been itching to get to know the weird quiet kid, who had greasy inky black hair and skin paler than paper. Who ignored everyone who came his way. Who would bite his nails when nervous- and yeah, maybe he did have a little bit of a problem. But in his eyes, he was just observant! Totally not a creep watching this kid's every move. Gerard claimed to be as straight as a crowbar (wait... that's straight right?) and totally didn't have the hots for Frank. For gods sake, Frank was his bandmate, one of his best friends! Imagine the crap dating him would start! But that didn't matter anyways, since Gerard was, as he kept on repeating (gosh you guys are thick), as straight as a fucking lightbulb. And you know what? It's a real proof of heterosexuality to want to kiss your friend fiercely onstage okay? So that's what he decided to do. And that's exactly where our story starts. Frank thought Gerard was fucking hot (no homo though) and kinda wanted to kiss him (no homo though) and like.. fuck him (NO HOMO THOUGH). Actually though, he was openly bi, but like, he didn't want to date Gerard, where are you getting this from? When Gerard mouth-attacked him that night onstage, might it make him admit something - something he should've realized a long time ago honestly? Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written.
