Riley's brother is killed when he runs a red light and is hit by another driver. Inside the car, Jason Vance, Caleb's best friend and the only person Riley has ever loved. Jase takes Caleb's death hard turning to drugs, alcohol, and promiscuous women. When Riley returns from college everyone in their inner circle is concerned with his downward spiral. Riley suggests a rehabilitation program where she will live with him for an entire year to ensue his recovery. 
What happens when secrets are revealed, boundaries are crossed, and the repercussions of drug educed actions comes to light?  
Will Riley ever find the love and comfort she's been lacking and will Jase ever forgive himself for his best friend's death?
