How can a person be so infuriating yet so intriguing?

Elizabeth Kennedy never really thought of sexy football all star slash steamy quarterback, Colton Blake as anything other than a sleazy, typical jock with jerk face written all over him. She swears the only thing he knows how to do is play football and contract STDs. She can already tell he's just a good looking, hotshot, high school jock who won't know what to do once high school's over. She's always just thought of him as that rich kid that has everything but won't amount to anything without his parents' money. A self-righteous pig with nothing better to do than annoy the living sugar out of everyone, especially Elizabeth (his personal favorite).
If it was up to her, she'd have banished him from planet Earth. After all, he's just another severe case of cliches. His money, power, status, and good looks can't be enough forever. In her eyes he's a scumbag that needs a good kick in the family jewels("that is if he had any"- Elizabeth). He's just one of those sporty guys that have no feeling or understanding and only wants to get into her panties. "Fat chance of that happening," that's what Elizabeth's response would be, delivered in a deliciously sarcastic tone and wrapped up in a pretty little bow of attitude.
But as they say 'never judge a book by its cover'. Especially if you don't know what's within your own pages. She doesn't know what's Behind His Jersey, but how can she when she doesn't even know what's under her own uniform?

I looked around thinking how a public school could be so cliche. I've been at a boarding school all my life and this is ridiculous. You got your jocks at one table and your geeks at the other. Typical " Hey watch where you're going!" spat a guy looking at me. " I was you egotistical bastard!" I retorted back. I stared at his frame noticing how much taller than me he was. He raised a brow at me and chuckled. I could hear the rumbling in his chest. Everyone was looking at us now. Great now an audience. " Excuse me?" he asked looking at everyone around us. " Did I stutter? No. Maybe you should get your ears checked. Now move out of my way!" I said pushing him, and walking away. Acting as if he owns the place. " Do you know who I am?" he said, making me turn around. I saw that everyone was giving me looks as if I did the worst thing in the world. " I'm sorry your highness, I don't. Bye bye." I turned on my heels and pushing through the crowd of people who seemed to enjoy the show. " You're going to regret this princess!" he yelled. I rolled my eyes at his remark. Coping with her father's death was one thing and being involved in dirty work is another. Add a bad boy to fall for on her plate and things can't be more messed up. She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not?
