"Too weird to live, but too rare to die." 'Branded' since birth, Ryukana frolics the warm desert sands all by herself. Despite being the oddest child on the block, she was dearly cherished by her family, especially by her older brother... Sasori. Influenced from the puppeteering and intelligence of her family, Ryukana grows up to a happy and healthy life, twirling strings as she learns to be mature, and to create astounding wooden creatures of her liking. ...But then, something astonishing happens, changing her path, her personality, and the direction of the family. Kenshin takes control of this and tries to lead her on a path that is dark, ominous, and covered with blood. Another being influences this path as well- as she meets a boy who she takes his left eye from- another monster who will change the course of her life. As the world around her turns dark, she begins to grow detached, lonely and aloof with each step. Her friends begin to turn on her, and the village defects despite her pleads. As Ryukana suffers from emotional damage and determination to get the 'Eternal Beauty' she strives for, her beast pushes her forward, until a mark is left on her record; a mark that will be there until the day she dies. Dive into the Naruto Universe of Kishimoto, put in this author's point of view into a story of devotion, loyalty, secret alliances, and criminal violence. /A W.I.P./

~~~~They called him reckless They called her pain They called him crazy He made her insane They said he's different Yet she's always there to play~~~~~~~ ______________________________________________________________________________________ What no one expected occurred one day Hatred became rivalry, rivalry became friendship, friendship became love. For who would have guessed that the Uchiha princess would ever fall for the Hokage's son. The Konoha 10 are now all grown up and have lives of their own. Now it's time for their kids to face the many challenges of life. Will they be successful in learning the lessons they need to survive or will they fail and run for their lives when the time comes... ______________________________________________________________________________________ "Who are we trying to fool you are just going to leave me like the rest when time comes. Everyone leaves eventually no matter how much you mean to them they'll still leave!" I shouted at my rival "I'm not and you know that. I know the pain Sarada and I'm not going to leave you I'm not going to hurt you. How could I when all I want to do is to protect you?" He said in a soothing voice. He walks up to me slowly but surely until we're face to face. Reaching his hand to my cheek he wipes away my tears. My gaze fixes on his eyes and instantly I know what I'm going to say next may sound vulnerable but I didn't care. "Promise me?" I said in barely a whisper. He looks at me with a small smile before answering. "I promise." ___________________________________________ Alright, this is the sequel to Everlasting (Sasusaku) but it can be read alone.
