After The End

The world ended when Kyler was only five. But for her the end was just the beginning. A life of hardship and desperation awaits her. Her father and her are of the 10,000 who had survived the disaster. Along with Kyler there were only 300 women who were still alive. With her father as governor of this new world his job is to do all things possible to continue the race of humans and the females are the key to success. A law is passed that at the age of 15 girls must be sold for the purpose of becoming a mother of a minimum of 12 children. But with the lack of women young girls like Kyler sell for top dollar.

Now that Kyler is turning 16 her father is obligated to put her on the market. Kyler has other plans however, and arranged marriage is not one of them. She has her eye for another boy, Jake, but he cannot afford to buy her. Their secrete relationship is considered illegal and Jake could be killed for it.

Will Kyler follow the law or her heart?
