Many years ago, a boy's family was massacred by humans as they suspected his family practiced witchcraft which was not accepted among the people. He was traumatized and lived in fear after all the people he loved died. He feared love. Afraid that if he ends up loving anyone again, they will be taken away from him. So he became rogue, merciless, unable to control and his hate for humans grew day by day. His power made him a King whom no one dared to disobey. He had both power and looks and his looks made him a walking "temptation". He was stoic and had turned off his feelings of love and mercy. Mirabelle, a young madien who was placed on a curse at a young age. The curse was placed on her to pay for her father's sins and she was only meant to be free from the curse after a man falls in love with her. But who can fall in love with a blind girl?

Her thoughts were shattered, feeling the presence of someone behind her. The presence felt dominating and powerful, like she had never felt before. "Castilla." She dared to turn to find Jax standing by entrace of the Castle balcony. "Jax?" Something seemed different about him. She could sense powerful magic that wasn't dark but frightening. His eyes were now a swirl of fire. The embers had become a storm of chaotic fire. His features had more of his true inhuman form. Horns of black curved sharply on top of his head. Something he didn't have before. "Did your heart ache for me? While I was gone?" He teased Castilla. "Why would it?" A smirk formed across his lips. "The way you were staring into the night as you were longing for something or someone. Thane perhaps?" Castilla's face did not change expression as he had hoped. She walked over to him. Looking into his eyes, she spoke. "That night before we left town, I knew it was you from the very first moment your lips captured mine. " She smiled at the shock that appeared on his face momentarily. A world filled with conquest, drama, betrayal, bloodshed, supernatural, kings, queens, mages, and a thirst for power.
